Routine appointments
To make routine appointments you can contact our reception team on 01924 483440.
Appointments are also available to book online which you can access through the NHS App or SystmOnline
If you prefer a chaperone to be present at any examination then please make this known.

Cancelling your appointment
If for any reason you are unable to keep your appointment could you please inform the surgery as soon as possible, you can do this by contacting us on 01924 483440.
You can also cancel your appointment by replying ‘cancel’ to your reminder text.
Extended Access
Evening and weekend appointments now available
Patients can now see a local GP for routine appointments on weekday evenings and at weekends.
Pre-bookable and on-the-day appointments are available between 6.30 pm and 9.30 pm each weekday, with additional slots available on Saturdays from 9 am and 4 pm and Sundays at 9 am and 1 pm.
The scheme starts in August when evening and weekend appointments will be available for any patient registered with a GP in North Kirklees. The appointments will be available in Dewsbury Health Centre.
How to book an evening or weekend appointment
There are ‘pre-bookable and ‘on-the-day appointments which can be accessed through your own GP practice, or by calling the free NHS 111 phone line out of normal working hours.
The surgery also offers additional GP and Nurse appointments every evening between 18.30 and 21.30 and also on Saturday mornings. Please contact the surgery regarding these appointments.
Home Visits
Please do not ask the doctor to visit unless the patient is truly housebound. Lack of transport is not a reason for a home visit. Please note that it does not harm a patient to attend the surgery if they have a temperature.
